The In The Doll World Annual World of Black Dolls Celebration continues! So far, we have spoken about doll artists and creators; but, the doll world is much larger than dolls! There are many people who customize dolls and /or create accessories for dolls.
Today, we would like to introduce you to the doll clothing designer, Carmen Nibbs, owner of Laylee M. Doll Clothes. Carmen, who is from St. Thomas, is a very creative clothing designer. Her clothes range from exercise clothing to traditional gowns. One of the things I like most about Carmen's designs is her use of color. She uses infuses color by using fabrics from the African diaspora.
